FA Vase, stalemate after 120 minutes, all to do again on Tuesday

Even added time was not enough to decide the match on Saturday. Framlingham will have to come to Shoemakers Lane on Tuesday to decide who progresses to the next round. The best of the football from the Pedlars, opportunities slim but the home keeper doing enough to keep his side in the match. Another sound performance from the back four and safe hands from keeper Aaron Watson.
The replay will be this Tuesday, kick off 7.45pm. Please come and cheer on the Pedlars and encourage them into the next round. Our thanks to Matt and the people at the Cressingham Windmill for sponsoring Saturday's fixture.
The mid-week action was full of entertainment and goals. Something for everyone in the Fakenham derby. The Pedlars claiming a point in added time. A superb performance for Ryan Pearson, all three Swaffham goals in this three three draw.
Next Saturday the Pedlars head to Diss Town for League action.
The Reserves were unlucky in their Norfolk County Junior Cup fixture, they to were level after ecxtra time, unable to contain nerves and confidence in the penalty shoot out. Sam Loomes and Kieran Bruce on the score sheet during the ninety minutes of normal time. A stalemate for the extra time and a four penalties to one defeat in the shoot-out. Back to the League next weekend, Acle United visiting Shoemakers Lane.
The Young Pedlars on the wrong end of a six nil defeat away to Dereham Town, some mistakes punishing the team in the first half but valuable lessons learnt for the future. Exciting and entertaining football played by both sides and a great reflection on the future of football to come in our region. On Thursday they head up the A1065 for an encounter with the Ghosts of Fakenham Town.
The Veterans start their League campaign with another derby, away to Necton. The older Pedlars, founder members of the County's only football league to grow this season across all age groups. Now boasting four divisions and providing competitive football for the over 35's, just occasionally at a slower pace
