Gear Up is the name on the car! Ian is the face behind it! He prides himself on his attitude towards driving tuition and always puts his pupils first. He teaches in a calm manner which suits all, especially those that find driving difficult or are nervous at first.

His aim is to make the whole learning experience enjoyable. This is reflected in his pass rate, well above the national average. He is a member of the Driving Instructor Association, holds a ROSPA gold award in Advanced Driving and is a grade A DVSA Approved Driving Instructor.

FREE INTRODUCTORY LESSON We are aware that making the correct choice of driving instructor is very important to you which is why we offer a one hour introductory lesson FREE OF CHARGE.

This gives Ian a chance to introduce himself to you and discuss your requirements. If you have no experience at all you will be driving along the road at the end of it guaranteed, if you have some driving experience behind you we will use this lesson to assess your level and plan the way forward.

Of course we hope that you decide to learn with us, but will be put under no pressure to do so.
