The Pedlars are getting to be known as the one point specialists following a disappointing visit to March Town United. Matthew Blackford putting the Pedlars ahead in the twenty third minute, volleying home from twelve yards but Swaffham unable to capitalise on the advantage despite numerous attempts.
Shock fifteen minutes into the second half, Luis Duarte seeing red for what appeared to the on-lookers as an inconspicuous tangle of legs, the Hares converting the penalty to level the match. Mid-week action ahead, Team Bury visit the Lane on Tuesday with the First Team away to Downham Town next Saturday for the County Senior Cup, the all Thurlow Nunn Division One draw is bound to attract some entertaining football with bragging rights the reward. The following Tuesday, the Pedlars are again on the road to Debenham LC in the Thurlow Nunn First Division Knock out Cup.
Bad luck for the Reserves away to Freethorpe in the County Junior Cup, beaten three two, the Pedlars goals from Sam Loomes and Jack Prentice. Next weekend they return to the League, a home tie versus Buxton.
The most encouraging news from the week was the performance of the Under 18's. Maintaining their lead at the top of the Thurlow Nunn Youth, North Division. An eight nil win over a very young CSF Canaries team. On the score-sheet, Korben Willis, Tommy Hunt, Aaron Smith, Sam Carter, Harvey Neale and Kieran Bruce (3). This Thursday they host North Walsham, another three points in their sights.
