We all know that football clubs are built up with more than just players and officials, behind the scenes there are volunteers and most importantly loyal fans and this is what this pedlar spotlight is based on.

All of our supporters are loyal and are arguably some of the best around however one particular supporter this year in my opinion deserves a special mention. This extremely busy gentleman who serves as our local Councillor, continues to give 100% to this club be it in the form of tweets, updates and even sponsoring our club captain Alex Vincent.

Not only does he attend more or less every single home game where possible, he has been known to pay for a round of drinks for all of the bikers during the annual sponsored bike rides and he is always trying to get more people involved with the club!

For a fan to adhere to our purpose of being a positive presence in the community it’s only right to award this particular “Pedlar Spotlight” to Mr Ian Sherwood.

Thank you for everything you do; the club couldn’t function without fans like yourself.
