A busy Saturday afternoon at the Worzel Roofing Stadium. The Reserves in action against top of their League Mutford and Wrentham. Despite taking the League through a fine finish from Sary Rhama and Joeph Minns coming close to a second, played through his effort beat the keeper but struck the underside of the bar, they were unable to combat the continual pressure of a well disciplined Mutford. The eventual score-line was five one, who knows what would have happened if Minns' shot had hit home ? Next weekend they are on the road to Dussindale and Hellesdon Rovers.
An end to end game on the Myers Playing Field provided great entertainment for the on-looking neutral. Visitors Southrepps the eventual winners by three goals to two, Charlie Gunner with a brace for the Pedlars. Next weekend they are in County Cup action welcoming Marshland Saints Reserves to Shoemakers Lane.
Midweek action for the First Team this Tuesday, Heacham make the trip to Swaffham in the League Challenge Cup then on Saturday back to the League campaign when Holland make the journey from Essex to Norfolk. The Young Pedlars are on the road on Thursday to Mulbarton Wanderers, always an entertaining fixture, both Clubs playing good on the ground football in the right spirit of the game.
The Senior Pedlars claimed a valued point as they started their League season last Sunday. Two goals from Jordan Palmer balanced the books against Wootton Old Boys. Next Sunday they are away to Costessey Sports, yet to start their season
