Pedlars finally kick start their season

A well deserved three points earned on Saturday with a tidy performance and hopefully the start of good things to come. Determination and stamina shining through, the Pedlars providing the home crowd with entertaining football and for the first time this season a League win. Matthew Blackford with a well taken effort breaking the deadlock in the tenth minute the visitors replying ten minutes later. The eventual winner scored by Man of the Match Bradley Yates in the twenty sixth minute, driven in low and hard the opposition goal keeper unable to deflect the shot. A tense second half with further opportunities for both sides, keeper Jack Johnson making an incredible reflex save in the dying seconds to ensure the valued points remained at Shoemakers Lane. Next Saturday Haverhill Rovers visit the MG Building Maintenance Stadium.
A different outcome for the 'A' Team in the Norfolk County Primary Cup, an eight nil defeat away to AFC Lynn Napier Reserves. Back to League action next weekend when they host Attleborough Town 'A'. Next weekend the Reserves start their Norfolk County Junior Cup campaign away to Gimingham United.
A heavy midweek defeat for the Under 18's, going down to ten men early in the game and then a series of errors, eventually shipping thirteen goals at Norwich City Community Football Foundation. This Thursday they play North Walsham Town under the lights at Shoemakers lane.
