Albert

Sixty four years a Pedlar

Friends and family wished a very happy birthday to Albert Hudson this week. Albert reached the eighty years young on Thursday of this week and to mark this remarkable milestone a gathering at Swaffham Town Football Club celebrated the occasion.
The longest serving member of the Club, Albert used to be collected from home at the age of sixteen by Club legend Bob Tuttle to play for Swaffham. A formidable full-back in his day and despite having set-backs, breaking his leg twice, continuing to play well into his fifties. Albert has seen many changes at Shoemakers Lane, now with it's second Clubhouse and many additions and alterations over the years, Albert still is an active volunteer and main source of Club knowledge.
