Three points for the Pedlars

Norwich CBS on Tuesday in the senior cup

A tense Saturday afternoon at the Worzel Roofing Stadium. The Pedlars taking three deserved points against Needham Market Under 23's, currently rooted to the bottom of the Division. Recently signed Nick Davey scoring in the fourteenth minute with the eventual winner. A frustrating seventy five minutes to the final whistle to try and put the game to bed, the best opportunity falling to Captain Callum Madigan, striking the post with a twenty five yard free kick, three minutes remaining in the first half. Mid-week the Pedlars face Norwich CBS away at the FDC Tuesday evening in the Norfolk County Senior Cup and then travel to Brewers Green Road, home of Diss Town this Saturday, back in League action.
The Reserves had a hard away game to top of the table Dersingham Rovers, Sary Rahma with a consolation for the Pedlars in a heavy eight one defeat. Another difficult game next weekend when they welcome second place Norton Athletic to the Worzel Roofing Stadium.
The 'A' team came back away to Tacolneston, eventually winning four three. Lewis Garner with a hat-trick, Craig Titmarsh making the balance. Away again next weekend with a local Cup derby against leaders of division four, Sporle Athletic.
The Young Pedlars missing out last week, their game at Clipbush Park falling foul to the weather. No game for them this week.
The Older Pedlars winning the bragging rights last Sunday away to A47 rivals Necton. Despite being two nil down in the first twenty minutes, they rallied to become eventual seven two winners, Ray Harrison and Andrew Hurcombe with a brace a-piece, Stephen Brown, Matthew Kenny and Jordan Palmer contributing to the final result. Next Sunday they host top of the table AFC Lynn Napier in a first versus second clash.
