First team 1-1 A team won 7-0

A well deserved point against high flying Stanway Pegasus for the Pedlars. Great work from the 'Black and White Barrows' to keep both games at the 'Uncle Luke's Stadium' on considering the rainfall during the week. Both goals in the Thurlow Nunn fixture came from the penalty spot in the second half. Captain, Kieran Bruce with a clinical finish in the fifty sixth minute, the visitors levelling ten minutes later, man of the match Ryan Hemmings going the right way but unable to get anything on the shot. A solid performance from the young Pedlar squad and the promise of better things to come. Next weekend they welcome Norwich CBS to Shoemakers Lane.
Adjacent to the First Team pitch the 'A' Team faced Watton United Reserves in the third round of the Ben Smith Memorial Cup. A slow start with the Pedlars going ahead in the first half through a converted Craig Titmarsh penalty, however the second half saw an avalanche of goals, Titmarsh with his second, Blake Davies and Harry Exley with two a-piece and Ashley Rowland with the seventh. They will travel to meet Costessey Sports United in the quarter finals. Back to League action next weekend, the short trip to Narborough for the flying 'A' Team.
The Reserves game fell foul of a waterlogged pitch at Scole, next weekend they are on the road to Hempnall. The Senior Pedlars are also away this weekend with a trip to Runcton Holme to meet Woottons Old Boys. The Pedlars looking to avenge the defeat at their earlier league meeting where Woottons took the points in a five three victory.
