Despite a committed performance, Swaffham's youngest lads failed to take their opportunities against a well drilled Clenchwarton Navy side. Navy set their stall out early, stuck to a rigid formation and two quick goals woke Swaffham up. They performed well after going behind, restricting the opposition's chances and Louie Voutt, Harry Anderson and Sonny Harris combined well to take advantage of the extra space afforded by Clenchwarton's deep lying defender. Clenchwarton's coach was constantly directing his team and it was good to see the Pedlar lads use their own experience to decide on the best way to play. Thomas Gavin and Liam Rutherford both had great chances and only good keeping from the Navy goalie saw Swaffham fail to score in the first half. Swaffham started the second half slowly and again let in two quick goals. They soon found their rhythm and assisted by Libero Keeper, Arthur Rowling and Ashton Gagen, soon started to test the keeper. Eventually a fumble from a shot saw Thomas Gavin bumdle the ball over to maintain his recent scoring streak. Robert Quelch had a cracking shot from outside the area, which unfortunately stuck a teammate to dent a certain goal. Navy scored the last goal in the dying seconds but the scoreline failed to reflect the game and only better finishing saw Clenchwarton claim victory.
