Wet Night Wonders
On a very wet night Swaffham Res. travelled to the Fen's of Levrington boosted by 2 first team players needing match fitness.
The home team had the best of the chances in the first half hitting the bar as well as a post, but overall it was a story of a few half chances not being taken by either team.
With changes of personnel at half time it was much the same for both keepers who had to make some good saves in difficult conditions.
The home team broke the deadlock mid way through the second period.
The Pedlars second string responded 10 mins after the home side had scored with a well worked and taken goal. Guy Powley delivered a superb cross for Craig Titmarsh to rise like a salmon and head home.
Overall a good work out for the Reserves with the team showing good prospects for the coming season, that starts on the 19th August at 18:30 away to local rivals Necton utd.
