On the back of 2 straight wins Swaffham Res. started slowly against there U.E.A. visitors, and went a goal down in the first minute of the game, the home defence failing to the clear ball after several attempts. As the half wore on the the home team began to take control and started to show there desire to keep there winning run from the two previous games going.
In the second half the home team had most of the possession and deservedly equalised through a long range effort from Dwayne Hockton which the visiting keeper misjudged and allowed the ball to bounce over his head and into an empty net. This woke the visitors and they started playing some neat football again, but it was the ''Pedlars'' who scored when a superb through ball by Titmarsh released Frost. The home forward controlled the ball expertly and delicately chipped the advancing keeper, to notch the home sides second. The students had one good late chance but found the young keeper J.Duarte in the home goal, in cracking form, to push the attackers effort wide, diving to his left. All in all another good result to push the ''Pedlars'' further up the table and away from the dreaded drop zone.
