The Pedlars second string travelled to Mattishall to find a strong home side awaiting them, as there first team played the evening before. The visitors started well and created some good quality chances, but as the half wore on the home team looked more likely to score, but it remained goalless to the half time whistle.
The second half was still as tight and competetive affair as the first. It was going to take a quality strike to break the deadlock and Asprey provided this with a cracking shot into the top corner of the net from 30yds. The home team then applied serious pressure but found stand in keeper Titmarsh and the Swaffham defence in fine form. The points were secured when super subs.Buckenham and Peake put the opposition centre back under pressure to gain a corner, from the resultant kick, Jackson starting his first game in 5 weeks after being out with injury, netted with a Brazilian style overhead kick.
Another strong away performance from all 14 players involved
