Swaffham started well creating most of the good chances and from a Lown corner Hockton headed on for Durrant to nod home, and open the scoring. The home keeper made two excellent saves but couldn't do anything about the visitors adding to there lead when Asprey struck a stunning 25yd drive, not to be outdone Coe for the ''Pedlars'' equalled Asprey's effort with the same result, the ball nestling in the home teams net, giving Swaffham a 3-0 advantage at half time.
The home team came out in the second half with a much more concerted effort, resulting in a more even game, with both teams having chances. The visitors rode there luck, but defence stood firm and they came away with all three points.
