Russell then set up Voutt for a tremendous 25yd. drive that was taken by the home keeper at the Second attempt.The deadlock was broken in the 33rd min.when Hunter played in Norman whose shot was experlty turned in by Plum.Furhter attempts by Russell,Plumb and Norman saw Swaffham very much in the ascendancy at half time.Cornard came out for the second half very determined, but the Pedlarskept applying the pressure with a close effort by Jones from a Hunter corner going just wide.Cornard broke on the encounter resulting in Brookes pushing over a 35yd. drive.Swaffham's second came from a long clearanec up-field by Simmons that allowed Norman to run on and slip the ball past Moyes in the home goal. Cornard rallied and pulled a goal back in the 61st min scoring from a ball that was not ceared allowing the no10- to slot home.Play was stopped in the 76min when Dan Clarke the Cornard no5 suffered a serious ankle injury going down in an innocuous challenge. Play was held up for 67mins whilst the player received Treatment and su sequently taken to Hospital.The match resumed with 14mins plus remaining. Swaffham showed great resillience under pressure to earn a well deserved away win.
