Cornard started the better pressing Swaffham back in the first 30mins.Impressive defending by Brookes,Russell and Haimekept the Pedlars in contention.The first real threat to the Cornard goal was when a great run by Plumb forced a corner, taken by Shafer, Plumb's volley pulling out a fine stop from the Cornard keeper. A minute later a poor clearance by the visiting keeper was picked up by Polski who beat two defenders before sliding the ball through to Shafer who easily beat the Keeper.

The pedlars started the second half with much more purpose with further attempts on goal.One a tremendous volley by Kenny,and a superb freekick by Russell from 25 yds. Polski left the keeper grasping air in the 67min. hitting the cross bar from 20 yds after beating two players. The fixture seemed home and dry when Shafer bagged his second on 69mins following good work from Plumbaloowing him to find the bottom left hand corner of the net from the edge of the box.Kenny almost made it three after a great defence splitting pass by Cornwall.Cornard pulled on back in the 85 min with a break down the right, and the subsequent cross being knocked in at the far post.Swaffham completed the scoring with a similar goal, Shafer doing the hard work allowing Plumb to drill the ball home from 15 yds.
