Swaffham complete comfortable win at Stowmarket by scoring five.

Pedlars make it three in a row

Continuing their current form Swaffham out-played Stowmarket
entertaining the Greens Meadow spectators with tight close play
football and the occasional moment of genious! It took twenty two
minutes to break the deadlock, Rory Harper played through to slot the
ball beneath the advancing keeper into the net. Despite further chances, that is how it stayed up to the break but always the promise of further goals.
Seven minutes into the second half, Joe Jackson beat his defender to
lay off to Harper to net his second of the day. In the 54th minute Jackson got his reward, Will O'Brien played him through, striking past the keeper into the bottom right hand corner. Number four came on the hour, Mickey Thompson picking out Jackson with a superb free kick, Jackson's clinical turn to thrash home.
Great play on the left hand side saw Matthew Parkinson lay off to David
Weaver-Pope his volley whistling just over the bar. The final goal
came in the 71st minute, O'Brien again feeding Jackson to claim his
hat-trick. Substitutions saw the return of Jack Redhead and Jake Platten
to the First Team action after being away and also giving the up and coming Toby Hilliard a further opportunity,to adapt to Eastern Counties football. The victory well deserved.
