Difficult conditions made worse by a downpour as the game started, didn't hold back the entertainment, both teams eager to finish the year playing football after the recent postponements. A game of two halves, the visitors more dominant for the first, taking the lead in the 25th minute, the Pedlars, missing Richard Cornwall through illness, not taking the initiative until the second half. Rory Harper equalising three minutes into the restart, following up his spilt shot, making sure at the second attempt. Joe Jackson putting Swaffham in front, after 66 minutes, his shot through a busy box finding the top right hand corner. The visitors coming back with five minutes to go, Scott Cruickshank unable to keep hold of a stinging shot, Wanderers getting the better of a goal-mouth scramble. It was great to see Dwayne Hockton start the second half, returning from illness, his presence making a marked difference to the game.
The same score in the local derby, Swaffham Town 'A' sharing the points with Castle Acre Swifts, Blake Stangroome claiming both goals for the home side.
