AFC Sudbury contribute to Pedlars heart stopping game at Shoemakers Lane.

The Pedlars on the march again....Swaffham Town 4 AFC Sudbury Reserves 3

An Alex Vincent hat-trick has set the Pedlars back into winning ways. A disappointing defeat to Premier team Norwich United midweek in the Red Insure Cup now behind them. Vincent opened the account in the 5th minute, driving his shot across the goal and keeper rooting it firmly in the bottom right hand corner. His second came just two minutes later, the visitors still in shock, Vincent lobbing the keeper from the edge of the box. Sudbury fought back hard but the Pedlars defence stood firm. A very suspect penalty awarded in the 40th minute, keeper Lee Brookes pulling off another great penalty save to keep the 2-0 margin at half-time.
Vincent clinched his hat-trick three minutes into the second half. Sudbury must have had an interesting team talk in the break, as they upped their work rate and got one back within five minutes. The second on 68 minutes and it looked as though the match might be turning against Swaffham. An inspired substitution by "Pedlars Manager" Paul Hunt, saw Matthew Castellan replace Mark Allibone, and score within his first minute of being on the field, opening his account for the team. The Pedlars fought hard to preserve their lead, Sudbury getting a further goal back in the 87th minute, but too little to late to get the equaliser.

An away 1-0 defeat for the Reserves who travel to Caister next week.

The 'A' Team beating Rockland United in the league, 4-0, goals from Lewis Fuller, Blake Stangroome (2) and Tyler Hume. Next weekend they are away to Yaxham.
