Away to Saffron Walden Town last Tuesday night, Swaffham failed to turn up in the first half and made the hosts appear far better than reality. Four nil down at half time, saw a different side reappear after the interval. Swaffham played more composed football and didn't get sucked into the hit it and run style of Saffron. A run by Scott Voutt through the middle of the park, to set Mehdi Mehrpour free to score his first for the club. Further opportunities fell to Nathan Clarke, his effort brilliantly saved by the keeper, and a volley from Voutt could have seen a closer result, but goals evaded the Swaffham side.
