1st pre Season Friendly

The 1st pre season friendly got under way at Swaffham under the leadership of last seasons management team of Mick Simmons, Lester Kent & Alan Russell, with the home side kicking up the slope. After 8 mins Wroxham took the lead through ex Mildenhall player Steve Spriggs. The game was even for the rest of the first half. Whole sale changes were made by both teams during the second half and the result could easily have been reversed, through chances made. It was good to see new faces in the squad such as Paul Shafer, Craig Burton etc. as well as welcoming back some of the older players Kevin Leggett, Lewis Hemeter etc. The home side were missing four or five players for this first outing so things are boding well.
